
Never in history has a crypto platform partnered with UEFA, but now it has. UEFA has set its sights on Crypto.com, which has not hesitated to jump at the opportunity to strengthen its sponsorship activities.
Crypto.com has made its grand debut as the official crypto sponsor of the UEFA Champions League for the 2024-2027 period. The announcement was made on 14 August by UEFA, which specified that the platform was the “first cryptocurrency partner” in the history of the Champions League.
This is the latest partnership concluded by Crypto.com in the field of sports and entertainment. Indeed, the platform was already an official sponsor of the Formula 1 world championship, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and the famous Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team.
Furthermore, Steven Kalifowitz, Director of Marketing at Crypto.com, does not hide the fact that these multiple partnerships in the world of sports have allowed the platform "to surpass 100 million users as part of our mission to integrate cryptocurrencies into every wallet."

Concerning the details of the agreement signed between the 2 parties, the sponsorship rights concern:
The UEFA Youth League, namely the equivalent of the Champions League for teams under 19;
The UEFA Futsal Champions League, the European futsal competition organized by UEFA;
The UEFA Super Cup, a match between the winners of the previous editions of the Champions League and the Europa League;
And finally, the UEFA Champions League, the famous Champions League, the number 1 club football competition within the Veux Continent.
As an official global sponsor, the cryptocurrency exchange platform Crypto.com will see its brand displayed on the LED panels around the pitch, on the backdrops for the media interviews after the match at the edge of the pitch, but also during the press conferences.
At the same time, the two partners have promised to collaborate "to offer unique experiences to supporters and create unforgettable moments during UEFA Champions League matches".
