Alex Caruso is included in the starting XI of the Lakers for Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
The Los Angeles Lakers change their starting lineup for Game 6 against the Miami Heat this Sunday. Alex Caruso will start in place of Dwight Howard, according to Shams Charania from the stadium.
Howard gave the Lakers a serious blow before entering the playoffs, but he was one of the players who fell short of expectations in Game 5. Howard recorded a meager 2 points and 2 rebounds in 15 minutes against Miami, his last game. It looks like Los Angeles think Howard will be a better spark on the pitch. Caruso wasn't very good in Game 5 either: the defender posted 3 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal in 23 minutes. He will probably share the time with Rajon Rondo, who scored 18 points in Game 5.
The fact that Howard is moved to the bench could mean Anthony Davis will spend more time in the center. The smaller, more versatile Miami squad gave Los Angeles a hard time. If the Lakers choose to play small, the game scenario could favor Markieff Morris and Kyle Kuzma by getting more time.

The Lakers will look to finish the job in the game this Sunday night. Additionally, the AD and LBJ superstars were phenomenal in the previous game, playing their roles perfectly.
On the other hand, Jimmy Butler is already quite exhausted, having played more than 40 minutes for the Heat in his last three games. Unless Butler and his cronies pull another bunny out of the hat, purple and gold should end the series in Game 6.
