Britney Spears: her lawyer gives uneasy news of her mental state

Currently in the midst of a legal battle with his father over his guardianship, on October 7, another hearing took place. Britney Spears was unable to sign an affidavit to express her side of the story, according to "TMZ". Her lawyer, Sam Ingham said at the time that "Britney Spears did not have the capacity to sign a statement, and compared her to a comatose patient." According to him, she is not in a position to agree to a legal settlement.

During this hearing, the judge in charge of the case did not make a decision. A later date has therefore been set to find a settlement in the matter of Britney Spears being placed under guardianship. Her lawyer also clarified that she did not want to perform again even though the singer herself has not yet announced her career plans in court. But, he claimed that her father, Jamie Spears, was pressuring her to continue recording and playing music.

"I learned so much, I laughed so much"

Despite the situation and the few delicate statements from her own legal team against her, the 38-year-old singer seems to remain optimistic in the midst of her struggle against the extension of her wardship and is not let down. Indeed, last Tuesday, she happily announced to her fans on her Instagram account that she had really enjoyed her summer. In a video, she said the summer time had been "so much fun for [her]". In front of the camera, she explained what she has done to keep busy over the summer months and what she has learned about life over the past few months.

"I learned so much, I laughed so much, I swam so much. But the most important thing I have learned is that life is just a constant gift. (...) Sometimes we have to learn to slow down and accept them all, ”she said enthusiastically. "I hope your summer has been as good as mine, and God bless you all," she concluded. Her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, left a comment under her post, "You are a real gift to the world," he wrote adding three heart emojis.
