Lakers extend their lead over the Nuggets in the Final ouest.

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets 114-108 and led them 3-1 in the Western Group final to put themselves in more than good shape to reach the Nuggets final in professional basketball.

Anthony Davis and LeBron James scored 60 points for the Lakers, including 34 for the first and 26 for the second with 9 rebounds and 8 assists, while Canadian Jamal Murray was the best in the Nuggets with 32 points, including 16 in the first half and 8 assists, while the Lakers imposed control. The Serbian Nikola Jukic scored only 16 points.

Denver had previously lived the same scenario in its two series against Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers in the previous two rounds, when it lost the fourth game and trailed by 1-3 before turning matters in its favor into two historic wins.

The Lakers led 37-30 at the end of the first quarter and then widened the gap to 12 points, but Nuggets responded strongly, reducing the difference to only two points at the end of the first half (60-55).

The game was a contest in the third quarter, as it condemned control at the beginning of the Lakers before hitting the Nuggets at the end of it and scored 11 points against 4 for his opponent, reducing the difference to 3 points (87-84).

The Lakers started the last quarter by scoring the first six points and the Nuggets remained close, but his players wasted their last five shots to get the Lakers out with a third win.

It is noteworthy that the winner will face the Miami Heat or the Boston Celtics in the final of the league, noting that the first one is ahead of the second, 3-1 as well.
